Keion Jackson Talks Creative Writing, Cartoons, and CAU
Keion Jackson’s career as a creative writer began in second grade when a poem he wrote was published in his Louisiana hometown newspaper. Now, as a proud graduate of HBCU Clark Atlanta University's Mass Media Arts program, Keion is a three-time Emmy-nominated TV writer, author, and playwright. He has helped bring culturally-relevant series to life for Sesame Workshop, Nickelodeon, and HBO Max. He currently has his own show in development with Disney Television Animation. His latest work is as co-executive producer and senior story editor of the new animated Netflix series Dee and Friends in Oz.
