Tennis superstar and successful businesswoman Serena Williams has thrown her racket into the luggage and travel accessories court, partnering with global travel and lifestyle brand Away. The Away x Serena Williams collection launchd this month, with additional products to debut this year.
“Serena defines today’s modern traveler, and her dynamic, multi-faceted lifestyle perfectly mirrors the essence of our brand and what Away stands for,” says Jen Rubio, Away co-founder & Chief Brand Officer in a written statement.

Away’s partnership with Williams is the latest in a series of partnerships and coveted limited-edition releases since the brand launched four years ago. It has previously collaborated with Rashida Jones and Dwyane Wade.
Williams is also featured on the cover of issue 11 of Here magazine, the brand’s in-house print and digital publication. Shot by Shaniqwa Jarvis in Palm Beach, the cover story is a conversation between Williams and writer, podcast host, and tech entrepreneur, Aminatou Sow.
