President Obama Sings Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’ at the Apollo Theater
President Barack Obama visited the landmark Apollo Theater in Harlem on Thursday.
Obama joined singers Al Green and India.Arie, as well as more than 1,400 supporters who spent between $100 and $5,000 per ticket for a fundraising event at the legendary theater.
The president surprised the crowd by singing a couple of lines from the soul singer’s classic hit “Let’s Stay Together.â€
