Founded by C. David Moody Jr. in 1988, C.D. Moody Construction Co. is the fourth largest black-owned company in Georgia.  C.D. Moody specializes in general contracting, design-build, and construction management.

Current projects include Maynard Holbrook Jackson Jr. International Airport; the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center at Morehouse College; and the Corretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy in Atlanta, among others.  Past projects include the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Omni Hotel at the CNN Center, and the Walt Disney Maingate Office Complex in Orlando, Florida.

In 2008, the company’s revenues reached $56 million–down 3.4% from last year.
