kobe at free throw lineKobe Bryant is currently at war with his mother, Pamela Bryant, after she decided to sell a number of the NBA star’s priceless basketball memorabilia to Goldin Auctions.

According to TMZ, Goldin Auctions offered Pamela a $450,000 advance for the items she would provide including “bball swag, a 2000 All-Star Game signed ball, game and practice jerseys from his days at Lower Merion High School, a Lakers jacket and shorts, trophies, his varsity high school letters,” and more. Like any “loving” mother, Ms. Bryant used her nearly half-million-dollar advance to buy a new house.

In Pamela Bryant’s eyes, she was well within her rights to sell Kobe’s memorabilia, but he doesn’t see it that way. The Lakers player is currently trying to block the auction house from obtaining and selling his items. To ensure that there are no legal issues, “Goldin Auctions has gone to court, naming Kobe as the defendant and asking a judge to declare Pamela the owner of the goods,” reports TMZ.

Currently there is no ruling on this case.
