‘She’s Doin’ Fine!’: Wendy Williams Shows Off Her New Man on Instagram

‘She’s Doin’ Fine!’: Wendy Williams Shows Off Her New Man on Instagram

Usually, talk show host Wendy Williams is the one to ask “How You Doin’.” But in this case, it appears that she is doing just fine!

Williams, 57, is apparently off the market given that she introduced fans to her new “boyfriend” on Saturday with an impromptu Instagram selfie.

“My son’s 21st birthday party on the yacht in #Miami was everything he wanted!” Williams wrote in her photo caption, adding, “Even my boyfriend.”

The fuzzy image showed Williams sitting next to her mystery beau, who appears to be a middle-aged white man, inside of a vehicle. Although the picture slightly blurred out the man’s face, it’s clear as day that Williams was all smiles.

This latest romance comes a few months after Williams’ fling with Maryland-based contractor Mike Esterman.

Williams and Esterman met in February on Williams’ daytime show segment “Date Wendy,” but their relationship was short-lived due to time-poor schedules.

“It’s a busy time of the year for home improvement, I don’t know if I can give her what she wants,” Esterman told The Sun in May. “Nobody called it a day, there’s just no time to meet up. We talk when we can. I can’t hold her back from meeting someone who can give her more.”

Williams has also been romantically linked to comedian Gary Owens, Marc Tomblin and of course her ex-husband Kevin Hunter, with whom she shares 21-year-old son Kevin Hunter Jr.

In April 2019, Williams filed for divorce from Hunter after he fathered a child with his mistress Sharina Hudson. Williams broke her silence about her ex-husband’s affair in August 2020, and told New York Times Magazine, “Kevin had a major indiscretion that he will have to deal with for the rest of his life. An indiscretion that I will not deal with. I never thought that I would be in this position. I’m a very forgiving person, but there’s one thing that I could never be a part of, and that one thing happened.”

Williams has not had a problem moving on from her ex-husband and is currently enjoying life with her new boo.

Celebs Shower Sha’Carri Richardson With a Wave of Support Following 100m Loss

Track star Sha’Carri Richardson received an overwhelming amount of love from celebrities and fans after she came in ninth place at the 2021 Diamond League Prefontaine Classic on Saturday afternoon.

Richardson returned to the track and field this past weekend following her suspension from the Tokyo Olympics earlier this summer and competed against Jamaican gold medalist Elaine Thompson-Herah and seven other sprinters. Although the 21-year-old track star came in last place with a time of 11.14 seconds in the 100-meter dash, she refused to be defeated by her loss.

“It was a great return back to the sport,” Richardson told NBC reporters. “I wanted to be able to come and perform having a month off. … Not upset at myself at all. This is one race. I’m not done. You know what I’m capable of.”

The young sprinter went on to clap back at naysayers who doubted her, while also congratulating the winners.

“Count me out if you want to. Talk all the s— you want, ’cause I’m here to stay. I’m not done. I’m the sixth-fastest woman in this game, ever. And can’t nobody ever take that from me,” Richardson said confidently. “Congratulations to the winners. Congratulations to the people that won, but they’re not done seeing me yet. Period.”

Online Twitter bullies made jokes about Richardson coming in “dead last” at the Oregon track and field meet, but the love that she received from celebs and her supporters outweighed the hate.

Rapper Lil Nas X tweeted Saturday evening, “rooting for you! keep pushin”

R&B artist Tory Lanez defended Richardson against critics and wrote, “Sha’carri ran a great race , not because she Won or lost … because through all the adversity she got up and RAN AGAIN , and GAVE IT HER ALL … she went through a lot of within that last month … n—–s be on the app preaching all this “uplift” our queens .. Then tear em down …”

He added, “SHA’CARRI …. KEEP FIGHTING.. WORKING .. AND PRACTICING !!! AND GO HARD AT YO CRAFT ! … YOUR TIME IS COMING … CAUSE GOD SAID SO !!!!”

A fan of the LSU sprinter also chimed in with their support and deemed Richardson a “superstar.”

“She only 21 yall! Her career just getting started. She will be fine BUT the girl is a superstar! When was the last time Americans turned in like this to watch a Diamond League track meet? #ShaCarriRichardson”

Even the man with the gold running shoes, retired four-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Johnson weighed in urging Twitter users to keep the same energy they had when supporting Naomi Osaka and Simone Biles about their mental health.

But Johnson followed up saying even though Richardson’s critique is “deserved” it’s the fallout that sometimes take athletes to a dark place.

“The critique is absolutely deserved. But the trending jokes are what sometimes send people to dark places even when they brought it on themselves. Just saying!”

In June, Richardson was barred from Team USA because of a positive marijuana test. She took full responsibility for her actions and shared that she wasn’t looking for “empathy” from her followers.

“I know what I did. I know what I’m supposed to do and what I’m allowed not to do, and I still made that decision,” she told Today in a July interview. “But I’m not making an excuse or looking for any empathy in my face.”

Richardson seems hell-bent on proving haters wrong and her advocates strongly believe she will.

Rihanna’s Fenty Company Is Sued By Islamic Artist Receiving Decapitation Threats

Rihanna’s Fenty Company Is Sued By Islamic Artist Receiving Decapitation Threats

Rihanna‘s Fenty empire is being slapped with a $10 million lawsuit following a faux pas at one of its fashion shows last year.

In the suit, an Islamic musician who’s chosen to remain anonymous said Ri-Ri’s company contacted her to sample one of her songs in their 2020 Savage X Fenty show last October. Fenty, however, played the incorrect version of the artist’s song, and the mishap led to the woman receiving a barrage of death threats, including ones of decapitation, TMZ reported.

The lawsuit states that the musician informed Fenty there were two versions of her song, titled “DOOM.” One of the versions contained holy Islamic chants known as Hadiths, and the other without it. She allegedly warned the company not to use the version with the sacred text.

After Fenty played the wrong song version during the live-streamed lingerie show, Rihanna instantly received backlash from fans. She followed up with an apology on Oct. 6, writing, “I’d like to thank the Muslim community for pointing out a huge oversight that was unintentionally offensive in our savage x fenty show. I would more importantly like to apologize to you for this honest, yet careless mistake. We understand that we have hurt many of our Muslim brothers and sisters, and I’m incredibly disheartened by this!”

“I do not play with any kind of disrespect toward God or any religion and therefore the use of the song in our project was completely irresponsible!” she continued. “Moving forward we will make sure nothing like this ever happens again. Thank you for your forgiveness and understanding.”

Despite Rihanna’s apology to the masses, the unnamed artist claimed she was forced to go into hiding after she was subjected to a plethora of death threats over the song. She alleges that the constant threats have led her to suffer from depression and anxiety.

The artist reportedly continues to fear for her life and is suing Rihanna’s Fenty company for damages.

Nicki Minaj and Her Husband Hit with Lawsuit By His Alleged Rape Victim

Nicki Minaj and Her Husband Hit with Lawsuit By His Alleged Rape Victim

Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, are accused of harassment and intimidation by Petty’s sexual assault victim, Jennifer Hough.

Hough—a woman who accused Petty of rape 20 years ago—filed a lawsuit in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York against the “Megatron” rapper and her husband on Friday. The Guardian reported that she claimed the couple tried to intimidate her into recanting her rape accusation against Petty and that Minaj tried bribing her.

The lawsuit claims Minaj, 38, and Petty, 43, began harassing Hough and her family members last year after Petty was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in California due to the rape case.

Minaj allegedly offered Hough $20,000 and a personal happy birthday message to her daughter “as a bonus” if Hough withdrew her story. One of the woman’s family members was allegedly offered $500,000. The suit also claims that Hough received a slew of harassing phone calls and visits from people associated with Minaj and Petty.

“As a direct result of the actions of Defendant Minaj and Defendant Petty, Plaintiff has been traumatized her entire life,” the lawsuit states. “Plaintiff has never felt safe since being raped by Defendant.”

Hough, 43, is reportedly seeking unspecified damages, according to People Magazine. She’s also suing Minaj and her husband for intentional infliction of emotional distress and alleges sexual assault and battery, which refers to the 1994 rape incident.

In the lawsuit, Hough recounts the story. She said she was on her way to school when Petty, then 16, grabbed her at knifepoint and sexually assaulted her inside a home in Queens, New York, on Sept. 16, 1994. He served four and a half years in prison after he pleaded guilty to attempted rape.

Minaj and Petty, who share a 1-year-old son, have not made a statement addressing the accusations or lawsuit.

Lizzo Breaks Down, Twitter Applauds Singer for Calling Out ‘Racist’ and ‘Fat-Phobic’ Trolls

Lizzo Breaks Down, Twitter Applauds Singer for Calling Out ‘Racist’ and ‘Fat-Phobic’ Trolls

Lizzo fans rallied behind her over the weekend after she broke down into tears during an Instagram Live video.

The “Truth Hurts” singer opened up on Sunday about receiving hate comments after she released her new bop “Rumors” on Aug. 13, featuring Cardi B. She expressed to followers that the negative remarks were beginning to take a toll on her.

“On the days I feel I should be the happiest…. I feel so down,” Lizzo tearfully said during the clip, which is no longer on her Instagram feed. “Like, I hurt so hard.”

The 33-year-old twerking flutist didn’t go into detail about the hate messages, saying, “I’m not even going to say them, to give them power.” But she claimed they were “fat-phobic and racist.”

“If you don’t like my music, cool. If you don’t like ‘Rumors’ the song, cool. But a lot of people don’t like me because of the way I look. Sometimes I feel like the world just don’t love me back. It’s like, it doesn’t matter how much positive energy you put into the world. You’re still going to have people who have something mean to say about you.”

Cardi B. later raced to her collaborator’s defense, calling haters “nerds” and retweeted, “When you stand up for yourself they claim your problematic & sensitive. When you don’t they tear you apart until you crying like this. Whether you skinny, big, plastic, they going to always try to put their insecurities on you.”

Fans also had the Detroit native’s back, and one Twitter user wrote, “Lizzo literally can’t do a single thing without getting nuclear hate and its crazy.” Someone else added, “Youre beautiful asf with a loving heart, great sense of humor and insane talent. You are the entire package. Fck what anyone is saying, focus on the love.”

Lizzo ended the nearly 13-minute Instagram Live by thanking her supporters for their “acceptance,” and promised to only “focus on positive comments from here on out.”

“I don’t have time for your negativity, your internalized self-hatred that you project onto me with your racism and your fat phobia. I don’t have time for it,” she conveyed. “Anyways, Imma continue to be me. Imma continue to be a bad b—h … ’bout to go do some bad b—h s–t. ‘Bout to go make some bad b—h money, and y’all stream ‘Rumors.’”

It seems Lizzo is choosing to ignore the haters and remain focused on the bag.

In July, Lons suddenly died after suffering a drug overdose. She battled off and on with addiction throughout her life, and relapsed while celebrating her 61st birthday at her Oakland, California, home, TMZ reported.

Cole refrained from social media after news broke of her mother’s passing. She later released a statement via Instagram and wrote, “This is so hard man. Can’t really even find the words. SMH. I honestly don’t even know how to feel. You can never prepare for something like this… Ever!!! but you will be missed.”

“I created this post to show my love and appreciation for your life and I would like to thank my fans + supporters, shooot your supporters and fans, for being here with us during these hard times, and the love that you all have for us,” she continued.

Cole first introduced Lons to the world in 2006 on her BET reality series “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is.” Lons instantly became a fan favorite and landed a spinoff show with daughter Neffeteria Pugh titled “Frankie & Neffe.”

Rest in peace Frankie.
