Preview B.E. Business Report: Jamba Juice CEO’s Successful Business Blend

Plus, Entrepreneur Robin Petgrave pilots Hollywood to new heights, protect yourself from identity theft, and nutrition tips for executives on the go

This week on an all-new Black Enterprise Business Report, host Caroline V. Clarke introduces us to James White, President & CEO of Jamba, Inc. Since 2008 this Power Player has led the charge in transforming Jamba Juice, which boasts more than 700 locations worldwide, from a smoothie-centric store into a full-fledged healthy lifestyle brand. White shares his growth strategies and focus on health-conscious consumers.

Along with the many advantages of evolving technology there are also many dangers. Identity theft claims more than 10 million victims annually in the U.S. alone, according to the Federal Trade Commission. This week’s Wealth for Life segment offers tips on how to protect yourself and what to do if you fall prey.

The Entrepreneur of the Week segment introduces viewers to Robin Petgrave, chief pilot and owner of Celebrity Helicopters. When he’s not conducting tours or charters, flight training, ferrying helicopters, or doing entertainment industry production work, this Jamaica native is busy mentoring economically deprived future aviators. Plus, our Executive Style segment highlights healthy nutrition for executives on the go.

Black Enterprise Business Report airs every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. on TVONE. Visit for local time and station information.

I just discovered alot from search for a business opportunity I could feel good about promoting and passionate about running! “Jamba Juice” could be the ticket for me? I’m coming out of homelessness and addiction, and have been recently “blessed by GOD” to receive a new position back into civil service with the V.A.! But, Have always wanted to own/operate my own business. I enjoyed learning about the CEO and the company; researching a successful venture is key to decision making! So far I like what I see! Thank you, B.E.!
