A judge granted Cindy Herron and Terry Ellis the exclusive right to use the name “En Vogue” while performing and touring after a long legal battle with former bandmates Maxine Jones and Dawn Robinson.
Herron and Ellis reportedly sued Jones and Robinson for the name and $1 million in damages in 2012, claiming the two did not own the LLC and illegally toured using the name after the group broke up. The judge awarded Herron and Ellis the right to the name, but said the two failed to prove damages.
