Founded by Patrick Beauchamp in 1973, Beauchamp Distributing Co. is one the nation’s pioneering alcoholic beverage minority suppliers. Beauchamp is the first African American to receive a Miller Brewing (now MillerCoors) distributorship.

Today, the Compton, California-based company is the largest beer and malt liquor distributor on the West Coast. The company delivers MillerCoors, Corona, Heineken, Guinness, and Sam to retailers across the country.

In 2008, the company’s revenues reached $72 million–up 10.4% from the previous year.
