Secure Your Business Online
As a small-business owner, you don’t have access to an army of IT experts. And as your business has grown, you’ve likely moved from a dial-up connection to broadband. That’s the good news. The bad news is that the connection may expose you to numerous security holes. Enter Norton Internet Security 2002 Professional Edition ($99.95; www.norton.com). The product is a full-service solution, providing antivirus protection, a personal firewall, Palm protection, and privacy and productivity control.
The application runs on all Windows operating systems and can detect system scans and intrusions, and attacks such as CodeRed and Nimda. It also provides alerts with detailed information and gives you links to online virus information if a virus is found.
