What happens at the 59th General Assembly of French Master Chefs this week is going to stay in Vegas.
“Maitres Cuisiniers de France” brings its summit to the U.S. beginning on March 5. The event will commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the American and Canadian delegations and the U.S. Chapter of “l’Academie Culinaire De France” (ACF).
This year’s event will be held at the stunning properties at The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas. The Venetian and The Palazzo Executive Chef Olivier Dubreuil, a Master Chef of France (pictured) will help preside over the week’s events; organizers say the 5-diamond resort is home to more James Beard Award-winning chefs than any other destination.
“The 5-day event will be held at the culinary capital of the Las Vegas Strip,” a statement read. “It was through his hard work and dedication to the organization that his invitation to bring the meetings to America was accepted.”
The Venetian and The Palazzo are a prime location for the week’s festivities, which last through March 9.
“We are so proud of the world-class chefs that call The Venetian and The Palazzo home and it’s even more special to host such a prestigious event and bring the culinary world to Las Vegas,” said John Caparella, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo.
“In March, nearly 150 Master Chefs will stay at The Venetian Las Vegas to review the previous year’s accomplishments, look ahead to next year and find ways to help other communities promote upcoming events,” the association said in a statement. “In addition new members will be added to the Master Chef list with an induction ceremony.”
