BE is searching for a poet to bring down the house at the 2012 Women of Power Summit poetry jam hosted by State Farm.  The Black Enterprise’s Women of Power Summit takes place Feb.15-18 at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, Florida. Upload your video before the Friday, January 27, 2012 deadline and have the chance to win two complimentary registrations and accommodations for one to the summit (airfare not included).

    Hi Frankie, I was rrfeering particularly to how Hollywood addresses and presents African Americans on the big screen. Several books can probably be written on that; it’s a point of contention in the African American communtiy. Have a great weekend!
